Tharindu Uduwaragedara released on bail

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Executive committee member of the Young Journalists' Association, Tharindu Uduwaragedara was released on bail on Saturday evening (29). 

Tharindu Uduwaragedara was arrested by the Borella Police on Friday (28), on the charge of being part of an illegal gathering, and criminal coercion on a government official. 

Following his arrest, he was hospitalized this evening, based on the recommendation of the Colombo Forensic Medical Officer.

He was released on bail after being observed by the Hulftsdorp Acting Magistrate of Prasanna Alwis.
